When placing orders for chocolate, taffy or other highly perishable orders we recommend overnight shipping when the weather is warm. We include free ice packs for chocolate and other delicate products to protect your shipment but we cannot be responsible for melted products that were not expedited. Please do not choose ground shipping during the summer months for chocolate, taffy or other heat-sensitive products or your order will not be shipped. Please consider and evaluate the weather and temperature at your receiving location before placing an order for candy that may not survive the transit. In order to protect temperature sensitive candy to the best of our ability, Candy Direct, Inc. includes free ice packs for chocolate and other delicate products to protect your shipment. We cannot be responsible for melted product. Plan to be home to receive your delivery to safeguard your purchase. Keep your package in a cool place.
